A floodlit, all-weather 400m, six-lane track/eight sprint lanes with two javelin runways, one triple/long jump pit, and one shot put circle.

Training and Warm-Up Information

Orkney 2025 Athletics will consist of a six-day track & field timetable with two sessions per day. A Track & Field training schedule for each island will be available out with session times. A warm-up grass area has been identified directly next to the track & Call Room.

Equipment

All Track & Field equipment per event is certified to WA standards & will be supplied.

Competition Format

Orkney 2025 Athletics will consist of a six day Track & Field timetable as set out in the IIGA by laws with two sessions per day.

Points to Note

No Steeplechase, Race Walking, Hammer, or Discus will be on offer in 2025. As we have a six-lane track with single jumps & throws facilities session times will reflect the increased number of heats required per event.
